I am now in Thailand for the third time in 2 years and have been staying with my girlfriend for 5 months now. Holds a Non Immigrant O visa until October 3, 2019 and then wants to extend it with extension via immigration. I am seriously thinking about making my stay in Thailand permanent, ie emigrating. I now have a Thai bank account and can park the necessary 800.000 baht on it. Furthermore, I am with pre-pension through the ABP after 41 years of education. But I don't have a state pension yet, I won't get that for another two years.

We bought a condo in the name of my husband and I and it will be completed in a few months. I have a question whether it is wise, now that we are both still fit, to also transfer the condo to our son's name upon delivery to prevent problems for our son when we die? Does he automatically become the owner in that case according to Thai law or do we have to arrange more?

A stent was implanted last April and I have suffered from high blood pressure for a long time. I am now taking the following medication. Amlor, half a pill of Nebivolol, and normally also co-lisinopril and Atorvastatin 40 mg. I simply forgot to take the last two to Thailand with me at home. I went to the local doctor here, but apparently he is afraid to change the import medication. That means that I have to pay 1 euro per pill for the Atorvastatin.

The first time you apply for an annual visa (and I do that with a Non Immigrant O), the amount must be in your (Thai) account. I have a combination of state pension and savings, enough for BHT 800.000. My Non Immigrant O expires May 1. If I submit the application on, say, April 17, must the amount be due on February 17 (2 months before the application) or only on March 1 (2 months before the Non Immigrant O expires on May 1)?
