A few kilometers before Chainat is the popular Thai bird park. More than a hundred different bird species can be found there, which, however, hid well from this farang.
A fun day out, especially for children. is a visit to the Bung Chawak Aquarium in Suphan Buri about 160 kilometers northwest of Bangkok.
Day trip to Khon Kaen Zoo
In anticipation of the reopening of the Megabreak pool hall in Pattaya, several employees have returned to their village in Isaan. One of the ladies, whom I have known for a long time, went back to Maha Sarakham to help her parents in the small farming business. She also spends a lot of time with children from her family and from the village, who are not yet able to go to school. She regularly sends me photos and this time it was about a day trip to the zoo in Khon Kaen.

The largest and most famous zoo in Thailand, the Dusit Zoo or “Khao Din Wana” in Bangkok will close its gates to the public for good at the end of this month of August.
