Birdwatching in Thailand: Nuthatch (Sitta formosa)

The Sitta formosa, also known as the Green Song Tit, is a species of bird found in eastern and southern Southeast Asia, including Thailand. The green song tit is a small bird with a length of about 10 cm and a weight of about 8 grams. The bird has a beautifully colored plumage with green, blue and gold shades.

The Zebra Kingfisher (Lacedo pulchella) is a species of bird in the Alcedinidae family (kingfishers). This species occurs in tropical lowland forests in Southeast Asia and the Greater Sunda Islands and has 3 subspecies.
