List of exemptions: Thai tax on 535.841 THB comes to 32.876 THB. Payable wage tax on AOW: 1.821 euros = 63.917 THB. The result is 63.917 – 32.876 = -30.041. That is negative, so nothing has to be paid. Submitted …

Something insignificant happened to me this morning while shopping here in the Netherlands. Unfortunately here, I would rather be there in my beloved Thailand. That insignificant incident reminded me of a nice adventure during my last stay in Thailand. I am careful and deliberately do not mention the names of the pub or other people present, except for one fictitious name. People also deserve their privacy at a distance.

When applying for a TIN number at the tax office in Jomtien, things quickly went wrong due to an error in the bank statement. You know Paul, who has often made great contributions to this series. In daily life he assists his wife Bussaya in her work with the tours of Gidsbussaya.nl. Many of the guests on the tours are winter visitors and often a bit older. As a result, a visit to a doctor or hospital is sometimes necessary, of course we always go along, even if it is only for the translation. Something is happening in that area, see the examples below. This story ends with the story of a dream house in Cha-am, which is necessarily put up for sale.

At the tax office in Hua Hin I tried to arrange a tax refund with article 23/6, but without legalized documents this was refused. The embassy could not help. Thai tax office also corrupt? (reader submission)

Today I went to the tax office in Jomtien to arrange my payment. I knew exactly how much I had to pay, but the employee claimed it had to be much higher. When he asked me how much I wanted to pay, I was done. How many others have to go through this? Shouldn't an official complaint be filed about this?
