How do I fill in the form for guarantee and accommodation correctly to bring my Thai partner to the Netherlands for three weeks? I don't really understand question 3b. My Thai wife has a 5-year Schengen visa and up until now we always flew direct to the Netherlands. Because EVA and KLM have now almost doubled their prices, we want to fly with Austrian or Swiss. But then we have to go through passport control in Zurich or Vienna, because we fly to Amsterdam with a different plane.

I sent an application to VFS Global and then tried to arrange an appointment in Bangkok. Could not get in until the end of March… That was not good. I emailed the VFS helpdesk and they wrote that I could arrange an appointment at the Premium Lounge for 2200 baht if I could give them my name, passport number and desired date of visit.

Today all the paperwork was done for the Schengen visa application. The next step is to make an appointment with VFS Global. The first possibility for an appointment is March 14, 2025., yes you read that right…
