Explanation of a Health Check Up – Part 1
Everyone has to deal with it at some point. Whether this is to respond to certain complaints and find out where those complaints come from, or in preparation for an operation, or for a periodic check-up (for example in case of diabetes) or simply because you want to know the state of affairs in which your body is located.
Now that I officially live in Thailand and also pay income tax here in Thailand, I think it's time to apply for an exemption from the Dutch Tax Authorities, Foreign Office, in Heerlen. Exemption from withholding wage tax and social security contributions from my company pension.

On Tuesday, September 22, first to the Bangkok Bank for the bank statement and update of the bank book and then again to Immigration Udon. We are at the Bangkok Bank at 13.00 pm and 20 minutes later we are outside with a bank statement and an updated bank book. Bank statement fee: 200 baht.

However, after almost six years together, we were more or less forced to do so by a decision by the Thai government that took effect on November 1, 2019.

After the successful document exercise and the quick settlement at the Dutch embassy yesterday, today back to the Thai Department of Consular Affairs. Toey's unmarried status certificate issued the day before yesterday must be returned in legalized form today. Today, with the form issued by the Dutch embassy, let's see if everything is okay and if the Thai Department can also give approval to our intended marriage.
A week in Bangkok (part 2)
After yesterday's flight from Udon to Bangkok, today we have a trip to the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, more specifically the Department of Consular Affairs, on the program. The address: 123 Chaeng Watthana Road.
