Reader's submission: Intention to deviate from tax return regarding deduction of integration course costs
On October 1, I received a letter from the tax authorities that the deduction of the costs of the integration course that I made in the tax return in 2015 will be reversed by means of Supreme Court ruling no. 17/03158. I assume that more people have received this letter. I have filed an appeal to this effect below. Perhaps others will benefit from this as well.

Uncertainty when completing forms MVV application Thai girlfriend
I am filling in the forms for applying for the MVV. Now it is (of course) unclear to me. Do the appendices “Evidence of the medical situation of a foreign national” and “Consent statement medical data” always have to be completed?
I want to apply for MVV for my Thai girlfriend in September. I also want to apply for a c-visa for 3 months in case MVV is rejected. Can these applications run simultaneously or what is the IND policy on this?
How long does it take to respond to an MVV application?
Is there anything to say about how long it takes, after you have correctly submitted all the necessary papers required for the MVV application, before you receive a response (rejection or approval)?
I know that the Schengen visa required me to have a permanent job. This will be no different for the MVV. But if she has received her MVV, and she can therefore stay here for 5 years (taking into account her further integration), do I have to continue to meet these requirements all that time? Question about residence permit for my Thai wife
I have a question about the 5-year residence permit that the IND issues after approval of the MVV application. Suppose the following occurs: my wife's MVV application has been approved and she would therefore receive a residence permit for 5 years. However, her passport is only valid for 2 years. How does this work then? I remember that in the past a residence permit was only issued for the duration of the validity of the passport. In this case, that would be 2 years. If this is still the case, how will it continue after those 2 years?
