On October 1, I received a letter from the tax authorities that the deduction of the costs of the integration course that I made in the tax return in 2015 will be reversed by means of Supreme Court ruling no. 17/03158. I assume that more people have received this letter. I have filed an appeal to this effect below. Perhaps others will benefit from this as well.

I know that the Schengen visa required me to have a permanent job. This will be no different for the MVV. But if she has received her MVV, and she can therefore stay here for 5 years (taking into account her further integration), do I have to continue to meet these requirements all that time? Because I want to start for myself. And then you no longer have a fixed income. In any case, no permanent contract with an employer. Could this be/become a problem?

I have a question about the 5-year residence permit that the IND issues after approval of the MVV application. Suppose the following occurs: my wife's MVV application has been approved and she would therefore receive a residence permit for 5 years. However, her passport is only valid for 2 years. How does this work then? I remember that in the past a residence permit was only issued for the duration of the validity of the passport. In this case, that would be 2 years. If this is still the case, how will it continue after those 2 years?

However, I have a permanent job of 24 hours a week, in addition to a social assistance benefit. Can I bring her to NL? (due to an additional social assistance benefit).
