Questioner: John Chiang Rai Assuming that there are no stupid questions, but at most stupid answers, I would have liked to see the following question answered regarding the TM30 report; Is it possible to submit a TM 30 notification online before your trip to Thailand, or can this notification only be submitted within 24 hours of arrival at your address in Thailand? In any case, this notification would be easy, in advance of your trip to Thailand...

Questioner: Maxenta I want to stay near the border of Laos in Thailand for almost three months. Can I do this, with an exemption visa on Suvarnabhumi, and then make two border runs across the same border post? Or should I apply for a tourist visa in the Netherlands (valid for 60 days) and do 1 border run? Thank you in advance. Response from RonnyLatYa Normally that is not a problem and you can bridge that period for almost 3 months on Visa Exemption. Border runs (strictly…

I started applying for a visa to Thailand and to be honest I discovered that at 71 years old I am no longer very handy with all those forms. The last time I asked Traveldocs to help me and that went well. However, I now understand from them that it is no longer possible for them to help me because I live in France. Previously this was not a problem.

Visa exempt. If available cash was requested: should it be the equivalent of THB 10.000 or 20.000? On different sites, I read these different amounts.

Questioner: Els At the beginning of November I will travel to Thailand. Since 2015, I have regularly stayed in Thailand for extended periods of time. My current visa (non immigrant retire) allows me to be in Thailand until December 2; and yes, I have a re-entry permit. I will extend my stay again at the end of November. I will stay in Thailand until May 2024. My current passport is valid until June 6, 2024. On some sites I read that the passport must be changed upon return to...

Visa application Brussels. I read and heard that I am not the only one who has to wait a long time for his O visa. Last year I had this the day after. Now I've been waiting for 8 weeks and I'm leaving in a week. My account keeps saying "processing" and when I send an email there is no response.

I have booked a outbound flight from Brussels to Bangkok on September 24. Because I had applied for a non-immigrant visa, I thought that an outbound flight was a good idea because I want to apply for an annual visa at immigration in Pattaya. I still haven't received a visa and I don't hope for one anymore.

Please advise regarding a possible visa (application?) “Thailand”. I have an option for a ticket for departure on November 28, 2023 and return on January 17, 2024 (± 50 days). Normally, a visa is necessary.

I need to fill in arrival (in Bangkok) and departure date (back to EU), both mandatory. I only have a one-way ticket, what do I fill in for the return and is this important at all (3 months, 1 year, but the latter only happens on site by the immigration office = extension, so I assume this is not correct. )
