Notifier: Herman TM30, then TM47 and then re-entry in less than an hour and 2 short questions for RonnyLatYa At the beginning of December last year I had processed my online 90-day report, after which I was informed that my addressing would be set again until February 28th. . At the end of last week, after receiving an email from Immigration, the new address notification was deployed online. What was my surprise when I received an email response last Friday that my report...
TB Immigration Information Letter No. 006/24: Immigration Saraburi and preparation for extension
Reporter: Pooh Peter Yesterday we went to immigration Saraburi for the TM30 report, unfortunately only a few words of English were spoken, but thanks to my daughter-in-law 'the homeowner' and my wife it went smoothly and my future year extension was immediately prepared. I was welcomed to Thailand and everything was extremely friendly. Today we went to Kasikorn bank (again not English) to open a bank account, but according to the new rules this was only possible if...
Questioner: Jan I have visa questions. By way of introduction, something about the situation. I am in the Netherlands in the summer and in Thailand in the winter, last year for 3 months, now six months. I also want to stay in Thailand for six months in a row in the coming years. I live there in Chanthaburi in the house of my Thai wife whom I married in the Netherlands. She and I never realized until now that we were obliged...
Thailand Visa question No. 016/24: Fill in TM30 yourself and how long can I enter with a METV?
The landlord had not yet completed or submitted a TM30, after all he only has local residents in his houses, we are the only foreigners. He has given an authorization so that we can complete the TM30 ourselves every time we arrive in Thailand, after all we have a multiple entry tourist e-visa. The employee indicated that it is not a problem as long as the tm30 is on time the next time, of course this is different for every other immigration officer.
TB Immigration Information Letter No. 058/23: TM30 reporting is mandatory for a visa extension
Notifier: heng-kie First, thank you for the detailed document overview for the 60-day family extension. I would like to add from my own experience that many Immigration offices also ask for proof of the TM30 notification. If you do not have this, you can still obtain it there, provided you behave decently on the spot. With the standard fine of course. I myself had reported this to the police, Tamluat, of...
I have a 60 day visa. When applying at the Thai embassy in The Hague, I also stated in writing where I was staying in Thailand. Like name. address, city, etc. Do I still have to report to the emigration office in the place where I am staying upon arrival?
I am in possession of a Non-Immigrant O e-visa (Multiple Entry), issued on September 21, 2023 with validity until September 20, 2024. Arrived in Thailand the next day on September 22, 2023. The stamp upon arrival from Immigration stated on my passport allows a stay of 90 days, so until December 20, 2023. I have been retired since last year and want to spend the winter in Thailand. The intention is to extend my visa by 90 days before December 20. That's my info. Please answer my next two questions.
TM 30 Immigration Bangkok. Because I spent almost 2 weeks elsewhere in Thailand and had no internet there, I was a bit behind with Thailandblog. While reading through it now, I came across an article several times about TM3o, the form that the manager of your place of residence (hotel, family or partner) must submit to immigration within a few days of arrival. If this is not done, the manager will be responsible for a fine of THB 1.500.
Do I still need to register if I am going to stay for a maximum of 10 days in a small village outside Phetchaburi at the home of my Thai wife's son when we fly together from Chiang Mai to Hua Hin next week?
I recently bought a condo in Bangkok. Since I've moved, I need to get a new TM30. Normally the landlord does this, but since I am the owner myself, do I also have to provide a house booklet?
I have lost my TM30 card, what are the consequences and should I report this to the police or immigration and who is best to apply for a new one?
TB Immigration Information Letter No. 044/23: TM30 not possible online for private individuals
I am a Belgian on a long-term visit to his Fiancè in Dan Sai. Since the TM30 falls under your Visa & Immigration ranking, I have information here regarding the reporting obligation of a foreigner staying with a Thai, possibly to register online. But is that so?
I am staying in Thailand on a Non-O retirement annual extension (800K) and have a Multiple Re-entry stamp. Arriving by plane several times a year, I do not have to register for a new TM30 because I stay at the same address, which is confirmed every 90 days.
Thailand Visa question No. 195/23: Can I make the TM30 declaration online before arrival?
Questioner: John Chiang Rai Assuming that there are no stupid questions, but at most stupid answers, I would have liked to see the following question answered regarding the TM30 report; Is it possible to submit a TM 30 notification online before your trip to Thailand, or can this notification only be submitted within 24 hours of arrival at your address in Thailand? In any case, this notification would be easy, in advance of your trip to Thailand...
TB Immigration Information Letter No. 032/23: TM – 30 Notification of residence for foreigners – New site
There is a new “TM30 – Notification of residence for foreigners” site where address managers can register their guests/tenants online.
Thailand Visa question No. 078/23: TM30 or not?
I would like to ask a question about the TM 30 (declaration of residence) as I do not have this form in my passport. I just renewed my annual visa “0” and they did not ask for this document (Jomtien office) nor comment.
I have a guest from the Netherlands who I want to register online with a downloaded TM30. I can log in at immigration with email and password for 90 days, but I am refused when registering for guests. Is a special authorization (such as hotels, guesthouses, etc.) required for this? Tried it a dozen times, but every time a Thai message.
