A good friend of mine, with an annual visa, has suddenly been admitted to intensive care in hospital in Suran Thani. His wife had left the Netherlands with him on December 1, but she would only spend a month with him in Phuket and has only a 30-day visa. She now has to fly back to the Netherlands on December 30.

I obtained a double entry visa on September 15 in Laos and only entered Thailand on October 1 with my first entry. At immigration I got a 30 day extension until December 30th. Only the visa says 'enter before December 14'.
