I recently entered Thailand on a Non-O marriage visa. Found a nice job a little faster than expected at a small Thai company, but which meets all the requirements to hire foreigners. The secretary then applied for a work permit for me with all the necessary documents. Once there, the officer states that a Non-B visa is required. Maybe I overlooked that and won't argue about it.

I am 75 year old Belgian and am currently staying in Thailand with a Non-immigrant OA visa, valid for 1 year (until June 4, 2024). My question is, can I convert this visa in Thailand to a non-O retirement visa at immigration and what is the procedure (required documents)?

On February 3, I will apply online (TM 47) for a 90-day notification. The date to register again was February 4, 2024. On February 5, I received an email that my application had been rejected, reason = incomplete. On February 8 I go to the immigration office, my 90 day notification is processed manually. The date to report back is now May 9. So everything's fine on that front.

My Belgian son, 28 years old, would like to follow a Muay Thai training in Phuket for a period of 60 to 90 days. Should he apply for a separate visa at the Thai embassy in Brussels, or is a 30-day VOA sufficient that he can extend for another 30 days?

I am Piet, 64 years old, and I am emigrating to Thailand together with my wife and daughter. We have both a Dutch and Thai passport, our house has finally been sold and we can move to Thailand. My father is 94 years old and owns an apartment in Thailand. He hasn't been there for a long time due to corona, but now he would like to go there one last time. Unfortunately, his proof of the purchase of the apartment is still over there in Jomtien. That poses a problem in applying for his visa.

I applied for an e-visa in early January and on January 22nd I received an email that it was accepted and ready to print. Once I did this, I saw January 22 behind “Date of grant”, and January 22 behind “Visa must be used by”, the same date. Below that, after “length of stay in Thailand” it says 60 days.

We have a 3 month Non-immigrant O visa until March 11, 2024. We discovered that we were 1 day short, because our flight departs on March 12, 2024 at 12,30 in the afternoon.

As of October 23, I have at least THB 65.000 per month through AOW. Can I keep my current monthly income from October 2024 for extension February 23 or will I look at the full income for 2023, which is not yet sufficient for that year?
