I have a question about the health insurance coverage associated with the NON-OA. I recently went to the immigration office in Jomtien to obtain information about possible new rules regarding health insurance. The explanatory sheet accompanying the TM 7 form now indicates that the coverage for Inpatient should be 3.000.000 baht and for Outpatient also 3.000.000 baht.

I want to go to Thailand soon on the basis of a visa exemption and have it extended at the immigration office in Khon Kaen and then start the procedure for a Thai Marriage visa. I vaguely remember having my tonsils cut (tonsillectomy), when I was about 4 or 5 years old, I was in a hospital and I got a big wooden fire engine. That's my only memory of everything that has to do with doctors, hospitals and that kind of shit.

Last year I received a Non Immigrant Visa through the Thai Embassy in The Hague. This expires on October 20, 2022. Based on this visa, I received a Retirement visa which expires in March 2023. When I left Thailand I received a single re-entry which also expires in March 2023.

You may already know that last year (October 21) the insurance requirement for obtaining a Non-immigrant OA visa was increased from 40 000/400 000 Baht Out/In patient to a general coverage of 100 000 Dollar or 3000 000 Baht .
