The Hat Wanakorn National Park at Hua Hin has a long stretch of beautiful beaches with breathtaking views flanked by pine trees. Special is that you can camp in this national park Prachuap Khiri Khan, which especially attracts many nature lovers.

Hat Wanakorn National Park became Thailand's 30th national park by royal decree on December 1992, 76 and covers an area of ​​23.750 Rai. The park consists of both forest and sea with a seven kilometer long coastline with rows of pine trees. The Klong Hin Chuang is the only water stream that flows through the park, in the dry season it can dry up. The beach is located 23 kilometers away from the city center. Two neighboring islands are Chan Island and Thaisi Island.

The park is mainly visited by nature lovers such as bird boot.

Major tourist hotspots include:

  • Wanakon Beach is a white and clean beach and the sea is suitable for swimming and relaxing because the sea breeze is nice and cool. You can camp at the beach. The sunrise is spectacular.
  • Makha Bay is a riverbed along the coast from Ban Wang Duan to Pak Khlong Nam Chuet. It is a cliff close to the sea and consists of reefs and shores. From here you have a nice view of the sea and you can see the Chan and Thai Si islands.
  • Hua Krang and Hin Chuang is a nature trail for true flora and fauna enthusiasts. There are three options. The first 2 km route takes about two hours; the second of 3,5 km takes three hours; and the third of 6 km takes about four hours.
  • Lan Khoi, Chan Island and Thai Si Island are two islands surrounded by beautiful coral reefs. You can dive there but only after permission. You must contact the Office of the National Park for this.
