Just did my year extension in Khon Kaen on September 20, together with a Re-entry (40 days before the final end date). Everything went perfectly, as most comments about the immigration service in Khon Kaen.
What is strange is that they removed my 90-day notification slip for presentation on 29/10 from my passport and renewed it with registration again on 19/12. I don't think I've read this yet as an option. It is sympathetic, so I don't have to go back next month, but only within 3 months.
