Entertainment venues in tourist provinces will be open until 04.00 a.m. from next year and during New Year's celebrations
From the New Year celebration onwards, popular tourist provinces such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket will keep their nightlife open until 04.00am. This measure, initiated by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and implemented by Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, is intended to stimulate the economy.
On Tuesday, the cabinet approved a proposal from the Interior Ministry to keep entertainment venues in Chonburi, Chachoengsao and Rayong open 24 hours a day.
The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) today agreed to relax the advice for wearing a face mask and the night catering industry may remain open until 2.00 a.m.

Renovation Consular Department Embassy Bangkok
The consular department of the Dutch embassy in Bangkok will be closed from 5 to 9 August 2019 for renovation work. The consular desks will be adjusted. Regular activities will resume on Monday 12 August.
