TB Immigration Info Brief 087/19 – Immigration Aranyaprathet (Sa Kaeo) – Year Extension
Yesterday I went to immigration Sa Kaeo in Aranyaprathet to get an extension on my retirement visa, like every year. I had all the necessary documents with me, including the affidavit of the Belgian embassy. I still thought that if the embassy issues an affidavit, this would be enough for proof of income, as it has been for years. To my great surprise, the extension was refused. Reason: I didn't have a bank statement with…
On a Facebook page you could read that the Immigration office in Chaiyaphum has moved. The new office is located next to the police station and opposite Aomsin Bank.
Went to immigration Nakhonratchasima (Korat) yesterday to extend a year visa present at 13,45 pm well after lunch as it sometimes runs out for the ladies and gentlemen. At 14.00 pm we were helped by an immigration volunteer. All forms were put in a row and then read again up to 5 times and the letter from the embassy was also recalculated up to 5 times whether I meet the requirements, which I amply meet.
TB Immigration Info Letter 084/19 – Immigration Chaeng Wattana (Bangkok) – Extension / TM30/ Re-entry
Visa extension and TM30: report CheangWattana 20 August 2019. On the advice of my French colleague Charles, I had decided not to go to Immigration at a very early time. Normally I get in line (the new hose) at 08.00:15.00 and go home at about 7:9 with the desired stamp in my passport: 13.00 hours in the building, a total of 17.00 hours from home. Charles doesn't arrive until after lunch, at 4:6 PM, and goes home at about XNUMX:XNUMX PM: XNUMX hours in the building and XNUMX hours away from home. I had already decided not to go on a Monday or Friday because – in my opinion – those are the busiest days in CheangWattana.
Booked a return flight on 24 July (return on 1 August 2019) BKK-BRU-BKK with Etihad Airways, 21.500 Baht for the ticket, booked directly on Etihad.com. My flight left Suvarnabhumi at 18.25:14.00 PM, as I had to arrange a Re-entry at the airport, I was there around XNUMX:XNUMX PM, which turned out not to be necessary at all.
Today, Thursday, August 8, 2019, I went to the Immigration Office of Aranyaprathet with my wife and daughter-in-law for an extension of stay based on marriage with a Thai woman. My last extension was based on Retirement. This will change the end date of the last extension. This will be changed with a stamp from the original August 15 to August 8. Another stamp with an end date of September 7 and the text application is under consideration.
Yesterday I went to immigration in Khon Kaen for my year extension, following documents were needed:
Request 365 days stay in Thailand. Been to Immigration Pattya Jomtien on July 23. Soi 5. Home, 365 days form completed and papers in order. Copy of passport and required pages including arrival/depart card. Copy yellow house book and ID card. Income statement Austrian consulate, 1.450 Baht (last year 1.630 Baht). Passport photo attached.
I have received a visa support letter with sufficient income from the Dutch embassy in Bangkok. Unfortunately, this was not accepted in Buriram. A Thai bank account is the explicit requirement there.
Visit to Immigration address notification and info extend stay period OA. Today July 12, 2019 visit to Immigration Rayong for 90 days address report and ask question extension. Just wait, a few people in front of me, then a minute of work and done. Question asked, has anything changed in connection with my upcoming application in August to extend the stay of my OA Visa by 1 year?
An income statement can still be obtained at the Austrian Consulate in Pattaya (and is still accepted by Thai immigration) for the extension based on “retirement”. The Austrian consulate does not issue an income statement for the extension based on “Thai wife”, which I personally asked.
In the very informative information letters from Ronny, the descriptions of the non-immigrant and the tourist visa state that the validity period of the visa can be deduced from the dates behind “date of issue” and “enter before”. With my last issued visa (both non immigrant and tourist) the validity appears to be slightly different. Now it says “valid from” and “valid until”. The date indicated after “valid from” is the date on which the visa was issued, so it is equal to the “date of issue” mentioned earlier.
Yesterday I was at Immigration in Maptaphut (Rayong) where I asked an officer present to provide me with information about extending a retirement visa, here's the story.
It was not checked whether the last annual extension was before or after the new regulations of 1 March. Mine was 05-03-2019 by the way. It went as it has been for years with the 90-day report. You take the old 90-day report, do something on the computer and print out the latest 90-day report. You are not asked to fill in anything. Nothing was said about the new rules regarding the 800.000 THB, which I use.
Maybe I'm repeating myself (this is not my intention). Went to Jomtien today Monday June 17 for an extension of the Retirement visa. I had all the necessary photocopies with me but unfortunately this was not enough.
My annual visa expires in December '19. Because some changes have recently been made by the Thai Government / Immigration, I have listed the 2 options (namely hold TBH 8 tons and income support letter from NL embassy.
Today I went to the Immigration office in KhonKaen to get my year extension. I was right next to it, it was very quiet, and was very kindly received. A box of chewing gum is available for free at the counter. All necessary copies of passport, yellow house booklet, passport photo (too small was no problem).
