We (retired couple) booked a ticket for 86 days (departure January 3, return March 30, 2023) for Thailand, Pattaya. We therefore need extra expensive insurance for a Non Immigrant O retired visa. To avoid this, we can then apply for a Tourist Visa for 60 days and extend it by 30 days while we have to provide a copy of the ticket (so 86 days).

Last year I received a Non Immigrant Visa through the Thai Embassy in The Hague. This expires on October 20, 2022. Based on this visa, I received a Retirement visa which expires in March 2023. When I left Thailand I received a single re-entry which also expires in March 2023.

Your answer to visa question 316/22 was clear and actually as it was before corona. I also have a Non Immigrant O Multiple entry visa. No matter what I ask at the visa offices in Soi 5 Jomtien, no one can clearly explain to me what that visa extension actually entails. Also, the articles I read do not answer my question.

My passport is still valid until June 2023, but since I have to do my annual renewal on October 20 this year, I thought it wiser to renew my passport now. I have a Tourist visa multiple entries and fly with EVA Air. I stay in Thailand for almost 5 months. Upon arrival I get 60 days, which I extend once by 30 days. After about 89 days I make a trip to the border for a border run.

I find it a hassle to apply for a 90-day multi-entry visa (immigrant o visa) online. Therefore this question: can I get around this by going without a visa? Can I extend those 30 days (now 45?) once by 30 days?
