Is there anyone who can tell me approximately what it costs to have both birth and acknowledgment certificates translated from Thai into English. To be able to declare this in the Netherlands as well. Can I have this done at the Dutch embassy in Bangkok? I would have to have both deeds translated, then via the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then to the Dutch embassy.

It is the rainy season and then, like every year, there are reports of (possible) flooding. Especially now that the rivers in several provinces of the Northeast have a high water level after a period of continuous heavy rain. The authorities are taking into account flooding of agricultural land and the spread of infectious diseases.

Former Prime Minister Yingluck must be in suspense for another month. Then she will be told by the Supreme Court whether she is guilty of dereliction of duty during her reign. This has to do with the mortgage system for rice introduced by her government. She would have ignored warnings about corruption and did nothing about rising costs. It can be quite annoying in a hotel. You are sleeping well, but you wake up from slamming doors and shouting from other hotel guests. It has happened to me a few times in Bangkok.
