Qatar Airways increases number of flights to Schiphol this winter and with it the transfer options to Bangkok
From 12 November, Qatar Airways will increase its flight frequency to Schiphol to fourteen flights per week. This is an increase compared to the previously planned ten flights and is in response to the growing demand. The airline expects to transport around 40.000 extra passengers between Doha and Amsterdam this winter, using both Boeing 777s and Airbus A350s.

Thailand visitors who want to avoid the crowds and queues at Schiphol or who live close to the border now have another option to fly to Bangkok. This is possible with Qatar Airways, which has added Düsseldorf to its network.
Qatar Airways and long waits at layovers?
I fly to Thailand with Qatar on Thursday and have a 2,5 hour stopover in Doha. Now I read from several people that the stopover takes much longer for unknown reasons. This morning I read that someone had been waiting for 16 hours and another 6 hours.

Back to Belgium with Qatar Airlines and the e-PLF form?
I have been vaccinated 2 times with AstraZeneca, here in Thailand. I am flying back to Belgium with Qatar Airways at the end of February. Qatar Airlines requires the e-PLF form. Belgium only accepts the e version. I have the paper version, but Belgium no longer accepts it. I try to obtain the e-version, but when I scan the QR code of the yellow form that I received at the vaccination center in Bang Sue Grand Station Bangkok, I get the message that this QR code is not registered.
Next week we hope to leave for Thailand with the Thailand Pass, that went smoothly, but still one question. On the Qatar Airways website I read: “Travellers entering the country must complete a Health Declaration Form and present it to authorities on arrival”. Does that still apply?
From BKK to AMS with Qatar Airways, PCR test or not?
As you may know, the Dutch government has moved Thailand from the “Very High Risk” countries to the “High Risk” countries. This is effective November 19, 2022.
Finally reunited with my lovely Thai wife after almost 2 years! After a period with many paper hurdles, my visa, CoE and a dozen more papers, Finally left with Qatar Airways (very cheap; less than € 500!) via Doha (not really my choice), arrived at BKK Suvarnabhumi.
I want to fly to BKK at the end of December and stay in Thailand for 60 days. Now I want to leave without applying for a visa, stay for 30 days and then have it extended at the immigration office. So on my flight ticket there is a difference of 2 months between departure and return. Does anyone know if Qatar Airways has a problem with that at check-in?
THAI will start direct flights to Phuket on July 2
Thai Airways International (THAI) will start direct flights to Phuket from July 2. THAI flies from the cities of Zurich, Paris, Copenhagen, Frankfurt and London. Qatar Airways will fly four times a week from Doha to Phuket from 1 July.

Via supersaver.nl I now find affordable tickets (-500 Euro) with Qatar Airways via Doha. We've flown with Qatar before and that's okay, but the problem is often the long transfer times. Now, however, this site also offers transfers with overnight accommodation, while you will not find that service when you go directly to the Qatar Air site. So this question: are there any travelers who have experience with this?
