Wat gebeurt er bij aankomst in Thailand als je een herstel bewijs hebt van minder dan 90 dagen oud?

Ik kopieer hier beneden een antwoord van Greg Lange van Bangkok Community Help Foundation zojuist geplaatst heeft op een vergelijkbare vraag. Het is in het Engels en waarschijnlijk meer informatie dan je verwacht maar ik denk dat meerdere mensen met dit antwoord geholpen kunnen zijn.

A recovery letter helps but does not protect you from quarantine. Full stop.

How does it help ? In your country they have a PCR which may be negative if the cycle count looking for covid is at 30. At that point it shuts off and your paper is stamped negative. However in Thailand the machine continues looking and each cycle is amplified. It stops at 38 to 40. So you could get a positive reading of Ct 37 which in your country was negative. The recovery letter tells the doctor that it’s the end of covid and you are no longer contagious. Without the recovery letter, he is guessing the start or end of covid. He simply won’t know so you are quarantined.

Now most hospitals treat anything higher then Ct 30 acceptable to release you. Cause under Ct30 could be a new reinfection. Piyavate hospital wants to see at least 34 value or higher and Medpark and Ramkhamhaeng wants to see negative. It won’t help you at all.

So we make sure you pick the right hotel Hospital combination so the recovery letter helps you.
