During my youth, as the son of a church warden, I was a devout altar boy for many years. As a result, I was more than usual established in the study of the scriptures. One story I kept doubting was the miraculous catch of fish (John 21.1-24). There, after his resurrection, Jesus had the apostles catch 153 large fish in a short time.

Yesterday I bought some 33 cl Chang beer cans in a Lidl in Rotterdam. with an alcohol percentage of 5%. The can stated that the beer was produced in Ayuthaya and was stamped "only export".

An item about extending the Dutch driving license appeared on Thailandblog on 10-2-2020. In a comment of mine I indicated that my suspicion was that, as a deregistered person/resident in Thailand, you would be allowed to drive with your Thai driving license during your holiday in the Netherlands.

The NOS posted on Tuesday that Rutte III does not intend to raise the minimum wage. In 2019, the SP and 50Plus had pushed for such an increase, which was later joined by the PvdA. But it was mainly the FNV that said it wanted to make a case for a minimum wage of up to € 14 per hour.

On May 19, '19 (and also recently, I think) an article appeared on Thailandblog, that logging in to SVB was no longer possible with a DigiD code and password. This afternoon I looked up my annual statement 2019 at SVB on 'My SVB' and printed it out. Simply with DigiD code and password.
