Does anyone have experience with applying for a residence permit for the sister of your spouse/nut. We live in the Netherlands, my wife has Dutch nationality (and Thai of course), she has a sister with Dutch nationality in our city and also a niece with Dutch nationality. Their youngest sister (35 years old) still lives in Thailand, no friend in NL or so.

Questioner: Tine I've already been searching the forum, but I can't really find the right answer to my question. I want to apply for STV visa (for a stay of 70 days in Thailand). Under step 4 (Supporting documents) I have to upload the following documents: 6 . Proof of fully-paid Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) or Alternative Hospital Quarantine (AHQ) not less than 14 days. I thought this was no longer necessary, what am I doing here…

I read in Pattaya News today that there are quite a few Indians in Pattaya again. But why is Pattaya/Thailand so interesting for Indians? I don't see them on the beach or in the bar. They don't have to go to Thailand for the sun and temperature either.
