The new ambassador Kees Rade is not quite there yet
Kees Rade, the new ambassador in Thailand (Laos and Cambodia) is only 'designate' for now. Protocol plays a major role at the Thai court and all steps must be completed before Rade can fully exercise his function. This became apparent during the first public appearance of the designated ambassador in Hua Hin/Cha Am.
New ambassador offers Dutch people a buffet in Hua Hin
The great interest in the visit of the new ambassador ZE mr. drs. Kees Rade and his wife mrs Cornaro to Hua Hin on 30 March surprised the NVTHC. It was a beautiful and very successful evening on the rather unique terrace by the sea of the White Sand Beach Hotel in Hua Hin. This monthly drinks evening coincided with King's Day on April 27 and the members of the Dutch Association Thailand Hua Hin/Cha-am were invited to color White Sand orange for this special day. And they did.
Agenda: Cocktail evening in Hua Hin at Say Cheese on October 30
On the last Friday of the month (Friday, October 30) the NVTHC will once again hold its monthly drinks evening at Say Cheese on Soi 74 in Hua Hin. This evening is open to everyone.
For the members of the Dutch Association Thailand Hua Hin/Cha-am there will be another fun pool evening at Say Cheese in Hua Hin on March 19.
