For everyone who cannot or does not want to attend the “official” celebration of King's Day 2024 at the Dutch association, I have found a nice initiative as an alternative in the Treetown entertainment center in the center of Pattaya.
On Thursday, April 27, starting at 17.00 p.m., NVT Pattaya will not only celebrate the birthday of our King Willem-Alexander, but also 10 years of kingship.

It will take a while, but book the evening for the best NVT King's Day in Asia on the Chao Praya River. With the swinging band Jazziam with lead singer Athalie de Koning, Top DJ Rutger and surprise acts! Including extensive buffet.
Wednesday 27 April is an excellent date to celebrate, also because it is the Dutch king's birthday. It's also an excellent time to get rid of some unnecessary stuff.
If you think that the board of the NVTHC will rest on its laurels after the successful reception of ambassador Remco van Wijngaarden, then you are wrong.

Today is King's Day 2021. As the Dutch embassy in Bangkok, we unfortunately cannot organize physical events due to the Covid 19 situation. However, we would like to share with you a message from Ambassador Kees Rade, followed by our national anthem, performed by Khun Platong, an alumnus, and a greeting from the entire embassy team.

On April 27, 2019, we traditionally celebrate the birthday of our King Willem Alexander. All members and supporters are welcome at the Fifth Jomtien hotel, Soi 5, next to the well-known Immigration office.
On King's Day, the Dutch embassy organizes a spectacular party that starts at 5 pm and ends at about 10 pm. There is the famous DJ Renato S, also a band and of course plenty to eat, drink and party.

Tomorrow is King's Day, as you undoubtedly know, and the Netherlands will turn Orange in its entirety. Many a tourist will be amazed by this traditional celebration of the birthday of the head of state. King's Day is also celebrated exuberantly in the Netherlands Antilles.

It was a beautiful and very successful evening on the rather unique terrace by the sea of the White Sand Beach Hotel in Hua Hin. This monthly drinks evening coincided with King's Day on April 27 and the members of the Dutch Association Thailand Hua Hin/Cha-am were invited to color White Sand orange for this special day. And they did.
You can celebrate King's Day in Pattaya with other Dutch people on Wednesday, April 27 at the Fifth Jomtien Hotel in Soi 5 of Jomtien Beach Road, right next to the Immigration Office. The exact starting time will follow, but count on around 17.00 p.m.
