Okay, through fifteen days of seclusion and the necessary paperwork, I could still go to my house in the Isaan. But I doubt. Perhaps a miracle will happen in October and the fifteen days of seclusion will be shortened to….?

The website of a Dutch newspaper recently featured a nice story about Dutch people who spend their holidays at the same destination every year. That could be a campsite on the Veluwe, an apartment on the Costa del Sol or a caravan somewhere in the south of France.

In pool billiards and other billiard variants, it must be determined who will shoot first. This can be done with a coin cross or coin (in Thailand king or temple), but in tournaments the winner of the coin toss is determined by a first punch of both players.

In many of my articles on this blog you may have read that I practice my hobby of pool billiards, which I learned in Thailand, in Megabreak Poolhall in Soi Diana, Pattaya. It's a fun pastime and I recommend you come and see it at least once and maybe it's also an opportunity for you to play a game, either recreationally or in a tournament setting.

Gringo has been coming to this pool hall for years to organize a pool billiards tournament with English friends three times a week. At the weekend we follow all kinds of sporting events on large TV screens, including the Premier League of England, while I keep a close eye on developments in the Dutch football league. All decisions of this season in England and the Netherlands are not yet known, but we already had something to celebrate.

I pool almost every day. My preferred bars for this are the Kilkellybar in LK-Metro and the Puy bar (first floor) in New Plaza. But the pool selection available appears to be of poor quality, especially in the Puy bar.

No, Miss Megabreak 2011 is not a winner of a beauty pageant, where a number of lovely and beautiful ladies parade in front of a jury. Miss Megabreak 2011 is the winner of the annual big pool billiards tournament, which will be played this year on Saturday 3 December at the Megabreak Poolhall in Soi Diana Pattaya.

In April of this year I wrote an article about pool billiards in Thailand and in particular about the ins and outs in the Megabreak pool hall in Soi Diana (Pattaya). I also told about the different tournaments that we organize there every week. Three general tournaments 9- and 10-ball, in which both regular guests and tourists participate. The participation is international, because the players come from 10 to 15 countries. Then on Tuesday…
