Thailand question: Does it make sense to buy a restaurant or hotel in Thailand now?
I have been thinking about traveling to Thailand with my partner and neighbors for some time now. I'm going for the first time with my partner. The neighbors have been many times before. The neighbor is thinking about starting and buying something there (small restaurant or hotel). And a Thai friend of my neighbor is going to participate (neighbor is of Thai origin).
Reader question: Is a “booking information” form by Agoda sufficient for a CoE request?
Does anyone have experience with the following with the CoE application? Is an (English) ” booking information” form sent to me by Agoda, sufficient for my CoE request (at Agoda I could choose the hotel payment option; only 2 days before check-in)?
With a pet in a hotel or condo in Thailand
Nam, a young woman who lives here in Pattaya and whom I have known for many years, has a new boyfriend. A week in Bangkok (part 1)

Reader question: Traveling around Isaan and booking a hotel
At the end of this month I will be traveling around Isaan again for 2 weeks and Roi et is also on my list to do. However, when I look at the well-known hotel booking sites, there is hardly any hotel room to book. I have also approached hotels by telephone, but unfortunately no room was available on January 30. Luxury hotel in Jomtien wanted
After years of going to Hua Hin for Christmas, we decided to go to Jomtien for a change. We chose the Movenpick in Na Jomtien, but that is too far from nice restaurants, a pleasant boulevard, etc. We think Pattaya city is too busy and are now concentrating on Jomtien itself. What we are looking for is a luxury hotel (4 or 5 stars), spacious room or junior suite, rooms with a balcony and sea view, within walking distance of nice restaurants and bars (no crowds like walking street, but "some life" is always there).
