Message from the Flemish Club Pattaya about health insurance
Lately I've been getting more and more messages from members who have questions about health insurance. Reader Submission: Is D-travel playing a game?
In May, my flight with EVA Air was canceled due to corona. In order not to put companies in a difficult position, I agreed to a voucher.
First of all, we would like to thank our existing and new customers very much for all the support in recent months! We hope you have enjoyed our Dutch quality products.
Finally I can go home. As previously reported, I arrived in Bangkok on Saturday, August 8 and was transferred from the airport directly to my ASQ corona hotel Siam Mandarina in Samut Prakarn near the airport for my 16-day quarantine.
Reader Submission: Proof of Life (Chiang Mai)
Last week we read a piece on Thailandblog that the SSO would no longer sign proof of being alive. Due to the Corona measures, we had postponed the trip to the Government Building in Chiang Mai
Reader Submission: Trouble ordering from Lazada
I have been buying various things at Lazada for years to my satisfaction. Had already had strange problems, but yesterday was the pinnacle. Not that I sleep badly about it, but I would like to let you know.

Reader submission: Experience with TEV/MVV application
On Sunday, August 9, Rob V. asked readers to send in their story about their experiences with applying for and the TEV procedure for the Temporary Residence Permit (MVV). Although the procedure is still ongoing, I would like to tell my story. The application procedure is therefore still ongoing. But perhaps readers of Thailandblog can benefit from it.

On Thailandblog.nl Transferwise is common good, to transfer money cheaper than a regular bank to a Thai bank account in Thai baht.
Had a visit from the police today. Neat sedan with logo and 2 agents. First I was asked for my passport and income. Then took a picture, the agent with 2 stars, Nui and me. Passport flipped through and photo of every relevant page. Nice lazy.
Below is a link to a document for Thai people who want to return to Thailand. Via this link you can register online, you will be called back within a few days for further details.
Reader Submission: Back to Thailand, what is needed (2)
Since it is not entirely clear to many what is needed, but especially the order of how to act. Here is the e-mail I received after the first contact from the Thai embassy in the Netherlands with the attachment and the telephone number plus extension number to make the appointment.
Thailand is a country with many hidden realities also called This is Thailand or TIT. Not everyone can appreciate my love for the country, but after almost 30 years of Thailand experience, of which the last 10 years as a working resident, I can hopefully have an opinion.
Because I decided to stay in Thailand this year, my blood thinners ran out. I use Xarelto aka Rivaroxaban 15mg.
Reader Submission: Using Transferewise the smart way
When it comes to smaller amounts and I'm in a hurry, a few hundred baht more or less is not that important. But now I want to transfer 10.000 euros in a period such as now that the price of the Bath is rising.
To avoid confusion, let me first clarify that I am talking about, from the Netherlands to Thailand, and what is needed for this and where to arrange it.
