Last Saturday, a question was asked about the SSO in Laem Chabang, where the state pensioners of Pattaya and the surrounding area have the Life Certificate of the SVB checked, stamped and signed. I already responded to that, but other AOW pensioners still had questions.

The SVB is developing an app for the proof of life, while at the same time GDPS is developing a similar app for the ABP (ABP is part of the implementing organization APG).

Last Thursday, a fun meeting took place in the Tulip House in Jomtien to play the Quiz 2020. There were 26 participants in the Quiz who, as 13 pairs, were presented with 2 rounds of 31 questions each.
Stichting Goed: DigiD what do you do with it?
DigiD or Logius has started adapting the DigiD App, so that ID documents (passport, driver's license) issued abroad are suitable for the ID check. After this, the DigiD App can be used by all Dutch people abroad. You can then continue to log in with a DigiD without a telephone number, without traveling, by performing an ID check.

The Dutch Association Thailand in Pattaya is organizing The Quiz at Tulip House on Wednesday 14 October (tomorrow), starting at 13.30 pm. The quiz starts at 14.00 p.m. Non-members pay THB 100 per person.

The biggest change that has occurred for me personally since my last blog, over two weeks ago, is the end of our quarantine. Despite the fact that those two weeks of quarantine went by fairly quickly, I was still reminded of the behavior of the Dutch cows when they go out to pasture for the first time at the beginning of spring, when we were allowed to go out into the world again .

If you are applying for a residence permit in another country, a letter of support is required in some cases. With this letter from the Dutch embassy you show that you have Dutch nationality and what your income is. You can only request this document by post. There are costs associated with requesting a letter of support.
