The exact date of this Buddha Day is determined by the position of the moon, but it is usually held in July or August.
On July 28, 2022 you can take a boat to Ayutthaya for only 999 Baht per person. The boat leaves Sathorn pier at 7:00 am. In Ayutthaya there is a tour with an air-conditioned bus. Ticket price does not include entrance fee and lunch.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites tourists to experience the colorful and intriguing Bun Luang and Phi Ta Khon Festival, also known as the Ghost Festival. The festival will be held from July 1 to 3 in the Dan Sai district of the northeastern province of Loei.
Phetchaburi Province will host Phetchaburi Harmony World Shadow Puppet Festival 9 from September 11 to 2022. The event is organized by Harmony Puppet Thailand under the supervision of Semathai Puppet Foundation in collaboration with Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and Phetchaburi Governor Nattawut Petchpromsorn.

NVTHC events man, Patrick Franssen, has planned a nice excursion on Wednesday 13 July. Under his guidance you can pay a fascinating visit to Amphawa, the floating market about 100 km before Bangkok. From my own experience I can say that Amphawa is the nicest among the floating markets.
Under the motto “Cars on flight”, a unique car show will take place on June 19 around the aircraft at the front of Terminal 21 in Pattaya.
The Phi Ta Khon Festival, in Dan Sai District of Loei Province, will take place this year from July 1-3, 2022. The grand parade will take place on the second day.
