The Inquisitor has been living in Thailand for almost thirteen years now and it has been eight years since he returned to his old homeland. Then friendships are lost except the good ones. So it was time for him to meet up with an old friend in Udon Thani. For privacy reasons, De Inquisitor will call him Jef, which is easy to type.

I am not telling you anything new when I say that many foreign tourists come to Thailand because of the relatively easy contact options with Thai ladies. A large number of them also see this as an opportunity to enter into a (long-term) relationship, get married and possibly take the lady to Europe.

Once back in the Netherlands, I have already built up a hundred overtime hours within a few weeks. My body is tired and I miss Thailand.

For my upcoming 50th birthday, I went to Thailand for the first time for 5 weeks in April/May, to see if the country is a good place to retire early and to see where I would like to live. In addition, I wanted to meet my family who lives in Thailand, which unfortunately still hasn't happened due to misunderstandings. I also met several ladies, which is different in every region.
