Currently I am still in Belgium and in possession of an annual non-immigrant visa, expiring October 21 and described in Phetchabun, but I am no longer financially able to pay 800.000 Baht to my account. I need a re-entry permit. I am now in Chiang Mai and tried to get that here, but because my non-immigrant visa has been applied for in Ubon Ratchathani and is under consideration, they cannot give me a re-entry permit here in Chiang Mai. They did say it can be done at the airport. Does anyone have experience with that on Suvarnabhumi? How much time should I allocate for that? Does it have to be done on the day of departure or can it be done earlier?
