Indian stories or reality? A Belgian acquaintance of mine has a friend in Australia who recently wanted to visit his girlfriend in Thailand. He had four weeks off and knew he had to quarantine before he could go to his girlfriend, he took that for granted. However, when he went from Bangkok to his girlfriend after the two weeks, I don't know where she lives, he had to be quarantined for another two weeks in a school that was specially equipped for that purpose. In the end, he still had three days to see and meet his girlfriend.

I booked a trip to Phuket on December 13th to January 4th. If all goes well, Phuket will be open to tourists with vaccination certificate (this applies to me). My outward journey goes via Bangkok (from Amsterdam) and then on with Bangkokair to Phuket. Now I have heard that you are not allowed to fly straight away and therefore still have to be quarantined in Bangkok, even if you have been vaccinated.
