The Test & Go program for vaccinated travelers who want to go to Thailand for a holiday will expire on May 1. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha announced this today.
'From May 1, entry rules to Thailand will be relaxed: Only antigen test (rapid test) on arrival'
As it now looks like, for foreign visitors, the PCR test with mandatory hotel booking for 1 day will disappear as of May 1.
Friday 15 April I will fly with Qatar Airways from Brussels via Doha to Bangkok. I am trying to find out if Qatar Airways requires a PCR test at check-in. I have my Test and Go document.
The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration confirmed on Thursday that travelers arriving in Thailand will no longer require a negative Covid-1 test statement when entering Thailand from April 19. It is now also in the Royal Gazette.
Back to Belgium and possibly test positive?
First of all I would like to say that I have been vaccinated twice and had a booster shot in Belgium. During my stay on Phuket from 2/28 to 2/24 I was infected by the Corona virus on 03/13.
PCR test before departure or not?
I am leaving for Thailand March 31st and landing April 1st. For the PCR test, does the arrival date or the departure date count?
Relaxations Test & Go: No PCR test on departure to Thailand and no PCR test on arrival in May, but ATK
As of April 1, Thailand will stop the mandatory PCR test (not older than 72 hours), which you must take in Belgium or the Netherlands before departure to Thailand. As of May 1, they also want to stop the mandatory hotel booking for 1 day and the PCR test will then be replaced by an ATK test. This is taken at the airport.
Tested positive, what about a medical certificate?
Last Friday I tested positive for corona (I was vaccinated 3 x for corona). In exactly 3 weeks on Friday, April 1, I have a PCR test, because I will fly to Bangkok on Saturday. That test will probably also be positive.
To Thailand with a corona recovery certificate
I have a question about Test and Go. Currently I have corona. I wanted to fly to Thailand in early April. I understand that you can test positive for corona long after recovery from corona.

ATK and/or PCR test in Pattaya
Yesterday we already wrote about the ATK test that you can have at Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok. If you don't feel like it and are staying near Pattaya, you can also visit We Health Laboratory (Corner 3rd Road and Central road), Pattaya Klang (near the BigC) cheaply and quickly.
My wife and I leave for Thailand on 4-4-2022, subject to approval of the requested Thailand Pass. We fly with Singapore Airlines and make a stopover in Singapore. Do passport checks and PCR test checks also take place in Singapore? The latter in particular worries me.

What if the test is positive just before the return journey from Thailand to the Netherlands?
My question is what consequence is attached to a possible positive test. Can you use the booked return flight, or is an extended stay in Thailand necessary? And if the latter is the case, what are the consequences?

Please clarify for the Thailand lover (reader's submission)
Recently I left for Thailand with my wife with many questions about the Test and Go program.
Book a hotel with 2 PCR tests?
My wife and I want to go to Hua Hin on March 16 for two weeks. Now I'm trying to book a hotel for the first night in Bangkok or Hua Hin with the SHA+ extra concept. But no matter what I'm looking for, only 1 PCR test is offered everywhere, while we really need two. I can't find anything to book a second test with it either.
Thailand relaxes the Test & Go entry conditions as of March 1: 2nd PCR test expires
As of March 1, Thailand will relax the Test & Go entry conditions for travelers entering the country by air, land and water. It is no longer necessary to book a hotel with a PCR test before the 5th day. Instead, there will be a self-test that the traveler can use. The insurance requirement for medical insurance will also be reduced from $50.000 to $20.000.
Will anything change with Test & Go as of March 1?
Is anything already known about whether anything will change with the Test and Go program as of March 1? I read that the travel world in Thailand wants that second PCR test gone
The obstacle course to our dream destination, this year anyway (readers' submission)
Like every year, my wife and I are going to Thailand for a while. We have been married for 12 years now and over the years it has become almost a routine to apply for visas and everything that goes with it. We went every year for six weeks.

My wife is flying to Thailand to visit her family
My wife is flying to Thailand on February 17th to visit her family. She received her 2 vaccines here in Belgium and the booster vaccine. What actually still needs to be done, because here (among the Thai) all kinds of things are being told. One speaks of a first day of quarantine in a hotel with PCR test, to repeat the same 5 days later.
