Normally you do not need a visa if you do not stay longer than 30 days. Now my question is, I leave on the 31st day and my return flight is at 12h30, do I need to apply for a visa or not? I know it sounds a bit silly but you never know.

Arrived at Phuket on January 6. On February 5 we leave for Bali again. Now there is a stamp in my passport until February 4th, which means that I have to leave then. My flight is February 5th. Do I now have a problem or will customs accept this?

As tourists we applied for our visas in December for our 2 monthly holiday in Thailand. Despite the correct date of return on the application form, the attached flight tickets, and the hotel voucher, the visa ends 5 days before the end of our holiday. According to the visa office, you can fly back up to 16 days after the expiration date, without extra fines. A few years ago I had to pay 100 dollars pp for a day late; Does anyone know if the rules have actually been relaxed?

This morning, July 11, I woke up drenched in sweat thinking that I had probably forgotten the date to renew my 90-day stamp. I jumped out of bed and indeed found that I should have reported on or around June 21. Twenty days late. 20 x Baht 500 is ten thousand Baht.

I'm going to Thailand again at the end of this year. Unfortunately, I did not pay close attention when booking my ticket. On the 31st day I leave for the Netherlands again. Can I still pay a fine of 1 thb at the airport for 500 day overstay? Or are the rules now so strict that I better apply for a visa extension of 1950 thb at an immigration office in Thailand?

At the end of February I leave for Thailand, but unfortunately I only have a Belgian passport (travel pass). My booking has been made and I am in Thailand for 31 days. Now the question is how can I rectify this problem of 1 day overstay? I read and hear many contradictions to my question, leave the country for a while, go to immigration, do nothing and just pay at the airport on departure?
