What about the "stability" of KLM flights? I read that KLM regularly changed booked flights in December 2021 to obtain better occupancy. Is this no longer the case?
How strict is KLM with hand luggage dimensions?
I will soon be flying with KLM from Bangkok to Amsterdam, and back to Thailand a few weeks later. I would prefer to fly without hold luggage, so only with hand luggage. KLM has a maximum size of hand luggage of 55x35x25 cm. Now my suitcase is 51x39x20 cm, so a bit too wide.
To Koh Samui with KLM?
I am flying to Samui over Bangkok on April 23 with KLM. This has been booked as 1 booking. Is it true that I can just make this trip and then enter the Test & Go program from Samui via my hotel? Or do I have to stay in Bangkok for 1 night and continue from there?
Whoever thought that due to the rising fuel prices and the flight tax we are now done with the price increases for airline tickets, is wrong. Since Friday 1 April, airlines have had to pay more to take off and land at Schiphol. The airlines, including KLM, have announced that they have to increase the prices of airline tickets as a result.
Thanks to the relaxations that have been implemented by the Netherlands and other EU member states, KLM is seeing an increase in demand for air travel. This summer, the capacity in Europe has therefore expanded by 10% compared to last year and is almost back to the level of 2019. In total, this concerns about 16 million seats. KLM also sees an increase in demand for airline tickets to Thailand.
KLM is raising ticket prices for Thailand and other long-haul flights due to the sharp rise in oil prices, according to De Telegraaf. KLM will increase an economy class flight ticket by 40 euros. Travelers in business class have to pay 100 euros more.
KLM will not enforce face masks on their aircraft
KLM and also Transavia, TUI Netherlands and Corendon will no longer require passengers to wear a face mask on board their aircraft. With this, the airlines are going against the rules of the government. The government still wants face masks to be compulsory in airplanes and airports (behind passport control), even after March 23. This is remarkable because the obligation to wear face masks in public transport is disappearing.
Back from Thailand to the Netherlands with KLM, now a longer flight?
I am flying back to the Netherlands with KLM next month after a stay in Thailand. Now I read that the Russian airspace and that of the Ukraine are closed to KLM. Do I have to take into account a much longer flight? For example 14 instead of 12 hours?
Departed on January 28 with my Thai wife with KLM. Checking in at Schiphol was very fast, it was not busy either. It was not crowded in the plane either and we could both lie down during the flight.

Who has experience with rescheduling a KLM flight? The normal button in the app does not work. Then tried contacting links via Whats app but no confirmation, I've been working on it for 5 days. Then just call, I think, already 109 euros called Simyo. Or no contact or forwarded to a foreign country and then I hear something but very bad line.
