I live in Jomtien on Theprassit road. It is extremely annoying if you live along a somewhat busier road such as Theprassit road that more and more Thai young people in particular find it a sport to drive around with a motorbike without a silencer and usually without a helmet. I have the impression that the police in Jomtien and Pattaya do not act against this.
My Songkran 2017 in Pattaya
Songkran in Pattaya/Jomtien is over and with that the whole of Thailand returns to the order of its normal day. Was it fun? Yes, I thought so! I have seen a lot of people having fun and enjoying themselves and that makes me happy too.

Recently experienced in Jomtien. Wading through 50 cm of water I arrive in Jomtien post office with a letter. Got a little wet which leads to remarks to use a new envelope and copy the address. Bit exaggerated. But then I was asked for a passport. A Thai driver's license was refused.

Brit (69) attacked by ladyboys in Jomtien
A 69-year-old British man suffered facial injuries on Saturday morning after being attacked by two transvestites. The ladyboys, he said, became angry when the man did not accept their offer to have sex with them.
