I live in Jomtien on Theprassit road. It is extremely annoying if you live along a somewhat busier road such as Theprassit road that more and more Thai young people in particular find it a sport to drive around with a motorbike without a silencer and usually without a helmet. I have the impression that the police in Jomtien and Pattaya do not act against this.

One of the defining features of Pattaya is the Pattaya Park tower in Jomtien. Although it is known as Pattaya Park, it is also referred to as a beach resort and amusement park. The latter meets most of what is possible there.

Anyone who takes the trouble to cross the Sukhumvit Road from Jomtien, for example, will be surprised by the beautiful landscape that unfolds there. A beautiful hilly landscape with height differences of up to a hundred meters. Agriculture is practiced in this beautiful area and one of the crops is cassava.

Recently experienced in Jomtien. Wading through 50 cm of water I arrive in Jomtien post office with a letter. Got a little wet which leads to remarks to use a new envelope and copy the address. Bit exaggerated. But then I was asked for a passport. A Thai driver's license was refused.
