I tested positive after the mandatory PCR test, as stated in the Test & Go program. I am now out of quarantine. However, I will return to the Netherlands on February 6. Must then provide the following as an exception to be allowed on the plane again if tested positive (most people test positive 3-6 months after recovery):

On December 25, the question was asked whether you can enter Thailand and whether you can book a domestic flight if you have had corona in the Netherlands but are in possession of a positive pre-departure RT-PCR test result and a doctor's statement. Is that still the case? Who has experience?

I have an important question about the Sandbox program. Under Test&Go I booked a ticket for January 13 to BKK. As you know, this is currently not possible. Exception is Sandbox Phuket with direct flight.

We travel January 1 with a tour group of 4 people in total. At the beginning of this week, unfortunately, 2 of our travel companions tested positive at the GGD for the Covid virus.

We want to travel in early 2022 for a minimum stay of 3 months in Thailand. We would like to bring our small dog. At the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the required import permit for the dog was dropped. It was not known when this would be possible again. We are trying to find out through the Thai embassy in NL, but this has not yet been successful by telephone and email.

My Thai wife comes to the Netherlands on Friday and the next day I want to have her vaccinated for the 1st time "without an appointment" (she has both Thai and Dutch nationality). The second vaccination will then take place 3 to 4 weeks later and then we could go to Thailand again 2 weeks later.

Although Thailand is concerned about the Omicron variant, the government seems to keep a cool head. Tourists are still welcome under the Test & Go program and, provided they are fully vaccinated, they can travel through Thailand after an overnight stay in a hotel.

Next week we hope to leave for Thailand with the Thailand Pass, that went smoothly, but still one question. On the Qatar Airways website I read: “Travellers entering the country must complete a Health Declaration Form and present it to authorities on arrival”. Does that still apply?

I am in possession of the Thailand Pass and currently in Phuket as well as a visa for 3 months. I asked the immigration in Phuket on arrival how long the pass is valid for, but the female immigration officer couldn't answer that either. I once heard that it would be valid for a year, but I can't find anything about that.

It makes me desperate. I keep trying to scan my Thailand Pass QR code in the Morchana App. I get a message every time: “Incorrect QR code”. When entering the data myself, I get the message “System error”. What am I doing wrong?

A simple question with a difficult answer (because I've been looking for a good explanation for a long time). Hopefully there are real Thailand connoisseurs here who can tell us how it works in practice. We (husband, wife, 2,5 year old son) want to go to Thailand for three weeks in mid-January/February. We are vaccinated, son not of course.

Despite all (announced) entry relaxations, it is not clear to me what the consequences are for adults and accompanying children if they test positive on arrival?

We arrive in Bangkok from NL on December 16. We have now already obtained the Thailand Pass by booking a SHA+ hotel and test & go package, among other things. Does this mean we can cancel that package and book a normal hotel instead of those expensive package rates? And how does this affect our Thailand Pass? I'm guessing it needs to be reapplied?

As of December 16, the entry conditions for Thailand will change. In the TEST & GO scheme, for example, the PCR test is replaced by a rapid test.

On December 16, 2021, the mandatory RT-PCR test upon arrival in Thailand will be replaced by the cheaper and quick antigen test (ATK method), and booking a hotel stay will no longer be necessary. That is possible, now that it appears that only less than 0,08% of the arriving foreign tourists tested positive in November.
