A few days ago I wrote about the flooding we had after a heavy rain from our future neighbour's land. We were angry and got into a fight with them because they claimed that this water could not have come from them. This despite the fact that we clearly saw that the white mud that came with this water came from their newly raised piece of land.

I have a question maybe someone here knows? We want to put up a wall as a boundary, possibly together with the neighbors, are there rules for that? For example, how high can that be and must it be finished on both sides? Who will maintain the wall?

Now I've been slightly annoyed about my neighbors for a year or two. They used to be called Nakit Construction. I don't know if they are still called that. They built the house in which we live and also the wall around our piece of land was built by them. Since our piece of land adjoined theirs, we shared the cost of it.

Between my neighbors the ground is connected on 1 side. Are there rules to take into account if one of the neighbors wants to build a wall there? May cq. should the wall be exactly on the property boundary or exactly against the property boundary?

A week ago, on a Monday afternoon around half past four, I turned into the soi on my bike. The first day of the working week is over. I now see that it is a bit unusually busy on the soi, just in front of the condo building where I live. And I also see police and men from a rescue team. It will not be true that what I already wrote: the policeman-gig came with his gun to get a story from his ex Ann and/or her new gig? No. I also see Ann standing outside so she is unharmed.

About 4 years ago I met Noi for the first time. She was the new manager of the laundry and ironing shop in the condo building where I live. My wife and I were happy with that. Not because of the washing. We are still able to put the laundry in the machine and hang it up ourselves. But ironing is sometimes too much work, also because we both work full time and have no domestic help.

How did it happen that Noi is grounded at the age of 39? She is from Sisaket and was married there at a relatively young age. Married to one of the boyfriends she had sex with for several years. Soon she became pregnant, a son was born and the father was not very happy about it. It created all kinds of obligations that he didn't feel like doing.

I am 100% sure that if my neighbor Noi lived in the Netherlands, she would be treated and/or supervised by various government agencies. The GP and the debt restructuring are two of them. Now I'm pretty crazy myself so I can have something. And also in the past I have experienced the necessary with neighbors.

Lung Addie's sleep is brutally disturbed. What do you do in Thailand: call the police? No, the other neighbours, who are also troubled by the noise, solve the problems among themselves.

Today I had another problem with the computer. My Thai neighbor who lives a few houses away is a computer specialist. I asked him for help.

Better a good neighbor than a distant friend. Ben, who lives three houses down my lane, has it in his mind to put an end to the karaoke joint opposite his house at all costs. He also suffers the most. When there is singing, out of tune or not, it is impossible to have a conversation on his terrace. Sleeping is only possible after a lot of pills or drink. In my bedroom I have…
