Every now and then it storms so hard here that my terrace is flooded in no time and the water then flows in through the ledges of the patio doors, usually at night. Like recently. I wake up in the morning with 3 cm of water in the living room! So it's time for measures.

A few days ago I wrote about the flooding we had after a heavy rain from our future neighbour's land. We were angry and got into a fight with them because they claimed that this water could not have come from them. This despite the fact that we clearly saw that the white mud that came with this water came from their newly raised piece of land.

We built our house a year ago. We have opted for beautifully decorated Thai wooden doors and windows. We have now experienced that they are difficult to open and close in damp weather. In addition, with regard to the windows, we have flooding during heavy rain and strong winds.
