We will leave in 2 weeks with EVA Air from Amsterdam to Thailand. After arriving in Bangkok we continue to Cambodia with Bangkok Airways and return to Thailand after a tour. It is not entirely clear to us whether your suitcases can be relabeled by EVA Air at Schiphol for our flight to Cambodia?

I want to get married in Thailand. I live in NL and my girlfriend in TH. I looked up Thailandblog.nl and the internet to find current information in 2024. I notice that the lists change over time. What was current in 2022 no longer has to be current in 2024. That is why after reading information I still have a number of questions.

I have a problem. My best Dutch friend, Leen Egberts, passed away yesterday at 13:00 PM in his home in Buriram. He would have turned 31 years old on January 88. His body was collected by the public hospital in Buriram. The reason for this is unknown to me. Initially I thought about a medical examination, but that turned out not to be the case. The language barrier prevented me from getting involved.

My girlfriend and I have decided to get married this year. In the Netherlands or Thailand, it doesn't matter. In any case, where the paperwork is the lowest and most importantly - with the shortest waiting/turnaround time, where both of us have to be present in the country of marriage for the various procedures.

Dear Thailand lovers and experts, I have a question on behalf of my neighbor. He faces two serious operations in the coming year, starting with his first operation on his leg/foot tomorrow. He suffers from heel spurs and neuropathy in his legs. After an accident a few years ago, his health and physical condition deteriorated sharply. He has had difficulty walking for years and suffers from back and neck problems, etc. He has damage to both feet and can sometimes hardly walk anymore.

I had an Android car radio installed last year. That device looks good at first glance, but it is disappointing because it responds far too slowly to everything. You can forget GPS with Google Maps. When I turn it on and search for a route, Google Maps on my phone takes seconds. That radio takes many minutes. Too slow to react in a traffic jam or when taking a wrong turn.

Until recently I could call people in Thailand very cheaply with the following numbers. (0900-1446 for 5 cents per minute and 0900-1761 for 7 cents per minute) but now I keep hearing this country cannot be called now. Besides WhatsApp (which I don't have because I have a senior telephone), are there any other telephone numbers that I can use?

My partner and I are considering taking 4 months of parental leave and going to Thailand with our 2,5-year-old daughter during that period. Unfortunately, we do not have many financial resources because we will have to continue to pay off our loan in Belgium and we will receive little or no benefits.

I recently read something here about buying online at Lazada, it sounded good. But I think my friend also has Shopee. What is the difference, advantage or disadvantage between the two. Does anyone have experience with that?

I have been coming to Thailand for long periods of time for years, but until now I have not been able to get by in Thai. Courses on CD and the like have had no effect on me. Because I attach great importance to being able to speak and understand at least the basics of the Thai language, I now want to take approximately 30 private lessons.
