A good acquaintance of mine was recently in Buriram with his Thai girlfriend. They visited her family in a village just outside the capital and my acquaintance wanted to see what the city of Buriram had to offer in the evenings. That was disappointing, because his girlfriend did not know the way in the capital either and after driving around in vain for some time, he came to the conclusion that there was nothing for foreigners to do in Buriram.
