Last Friday around 12 o'clock I saw a very strange natural phenomenon. Informed the editors of Thailandblog what this could be. It turned out to be a “Halo”. Looked further on Wikipedia and there it was explained how this phenomenon can arise!

THAI has again decided to postpone flights from Brussels to Bangkok by a month. The first flight must now depart from Brussels Airport on October 2. This is remarkable because THAI previously reported that the route would be restarted on September 1.

I am Johan, 65 years old and married to a Thai. Of course we often go to Thailand on holiday. We have already rented a car or minivan with driver a few times. My wife absolutely does not allow me to rent a car myself, so for the sake of peace I will have a van with a driver. My question is: what do readers of this blog think is reasonable and “decent” dealings with the driver? Do I also have to pay for a hotel room and meals, lavishly topped with beer (at the end of the day, that beer) for the driver?

My girlfriend's 2021-year residence permit will expire in March 5. She has now passed the integration process and has a job of 20 hours a week. What now? Apply for a residence permit again Apply for a Dutch passport, but her Thai nationality will not expire.

I have heard that THAI Airways will fly back to Belgium from September 1st. My wife had her ticket converted from May to September. My question, is there a chance that she will have to go into quarantine in Belgium and also when she returns to Thailand?
