Apparently under pressure from public opinion, the Thai government has postponed the purchase of two new submarines for a year. China would have agreed to this delay. A first submarine is already under construction; it is expected in 2023.

I've already read some articles about the cost of living in Thailand, but apparently I can't respond to that (because it's too old). It is not possible to discuss this again. What struck me most about this discussion was that people would need more money to live in Thailand than what is available in Europe. In Belgium there are people who have to get by with 1200 to 1300 euros in pension and I read here that people in Thailand needed at least 2000 euros. Is this bluff involved or?

I am 79 years old. Was a “world cyclist”, multi-week trips, so experienced. I now try to steer the test of time a bit by cycling 2 to 3 times a week. Two hours, 35-40 km, 20 km on average and consumption approx 300 kcal. I also do it to reduce lower back pain. Lately I don't have muscle pain on cycling day, but headache after a few hours. Light at first, then strong. Try to stop that in time with cafergot. Usually works. If not, it may take until the next afternoon.

I have a question about tax in Thailand. Like every year, this year again to the town hall with all the papers for the tax. My wife has some cottages that she rents out, due to the Covid conditions, the occupancy is only 40%. I was very surprised that this year the attack was more than double that of last year. The fact that the occupancy is only 40% is not taken into account and what was new, our own house was also included in the attack.
