I would like to remind you that those who took advantage of the waiver to postpone their 90-day reporting. Today August 31 is the last day you could fix this. From tomorrow you may be fined between 2.000 and 4.000 Baht, but it is your immigration office that will decide on that.

I have a question regarding 90 days notice. My girlfriend and I are building a new house after tearing down the previous one. My girlfriend is now sleeping with her sister and I am staying at a resort nearby. Since I stay there for a long time, they reported to immigration. What address do I have to provide on my 90 day notice, of my place of residence or the resort?

Do I really have to make that report myself every time I spend the night in another province or is the report that is normally made by the hotel (or similar) sufficient? I like to travel around Thailand, but I don't feel comfortable making such a report every time …

I have been living in Thailand for several years now and soon I wanted to return to the Netherlands. When I return I want to meet some acquaintances in Bangkok and, after an overnight stay in a hotel, travel through Thailand with them for two weeks. My question: if I return to my home address in Thailand, do I have to report this somewhere, such as the local police station or immigration?

For some time now, you have been obliged to report to the appropriate authority within 24 hours after arriving in Thailand. Am in possession of a Thai OA visa, a so-called retirement visa. Valid for 1 year. Recently, after returning from a foreign trip, reported to a Thai immigration service for the above obligation. Was told by the employee(s) present that the obligation would not apply to persons with a 1-year residence visa.

I have a question about the obligation to report to immigration after returning to Thailand. After a stay of 2 months in Belgium I would arrive in Thailand on Saturday September 2nd with a non immigrant O visa. Since the Jomtien immigration office will be closed then, do I have to register the following Monday with form TM 30? Are there any other documents required such as a copy of the house book?

The Thai Immigration has apparently decided to bully the falangs a bit more and squeeze some more money out of their pockets. I don't have to tell you that this money disappears into their pockets, that goes without saying. They are now starting to carry out active checks in connection with the 1979 law on the reporting obligation of foreign nationals. It is therefore about the legislation that the owner of a property where a foreigner is staying must file a report with immigration or the local police station within 24 hours.

It has already been written that anyone who enters Thailand, but does not go to a hotel or resort, must report to Immigration. Last year I sent an acquaintance to immigration to report with a residence address, knew nothing about it at immigration and was sent back. This month before making an annual visa this man got his problem for not reporting an address and was fined 4000 baht, after payment this man could apply for a visa and was also granted.
