Also this year we are happy that Sinterklaas has found the time to visit us in Pattaya. In addition to Sinterklaas' visit, we are also very pleased that ambassador Kees Rade has responded very enthusiastically to our invitation to meet the members of the Dutch Association in Pattaya on Sinterklaas evening.
The still incomplete Sinterklaas committee is looking for volunteers who want to help organize the Sinterklaas party on Wednesday morning, December 5, a day off in Thailand, in the garden of the embassy in Bangkok.
Sinterklaas overwhelmed by the massive reception in Hua Hin
Sinterklaas's birthday was celebrated in grand style at White Sand Beach in Hua Hin. Saint Nicholas came with his two Pieten, Pedro and Jonathan in a nice pick-up to the Dutch Association in the hotel on the beach. The sea was too choppy to come by boat and the Sinterklaas couple was ill, the good saint told the crowd of children who had gathered on the spot at the invitation of the NVTHC.
Agenda: Sint with two Black Petes in Hua Hin
It will be crazy on November 29, when Sinterklaas and his two Black Petes arrive in Hua Hin, for a visit to the Dutch Association of Thailand.
On Tuesday December 5, Sint and his Pieten will visit us at the embassy grounds between 10 and 12 o'clock. The Sint will be more interactive this year than in previous years and he will personally see how the children will get their Pieten diploma. In addition, there are extra activities by KIS International School, there is Balloon Sculpture and Face Painting.

Sinterklaas has finished his travel program to Hua Hin. On Wednesday, November 29, he will visit the famous hotel-restaurant White Sand Beach for the Dutch Association in Hua Hin and Cha Am. What a pleasure that will give (and what a sprinkle)!
It is still early days, but we do not want to deprive you of the news that our representatives in Spain, after consultation with Sinterklaas, recently informed us that Sinterklaas will arrive at the NVTHC in Hua Hin on his visit to Thailand on Wednesday, November 29.
Sinterklaas could look back on a resounding success in Hua Hin after Saturday evening. More than a hundred parents and more than 30 children came to Say Cheese for the birthday of the good saint. He was accompanied by two real Black Petes and his fungus.
Sinterklaas celebration 2016 in Bangkok
Saturday morning, Sinterklaas arrived on a motorcycle at the Dutch embassy in Bangkok. Around 150 excited children and their parents gave Sinterklaas a warm welcome. He listened to their beautiful songs and enjoyed their great performances.

It promises to be another fun evening with surprises. This evening De Goed Heilig Man asks the public to cooperate with the part “Search Requested” to find the right person among the members of the NVTPattaya by means of poems.
Calendar: Saint Nicholas comes to Hua Hin on December 3
The month of December is approaching and Sinterklaas and his Zwarte Pieten are busy preparing for his arrival in the Netherlands. Saint Nicholas has also found time to travel to Hua Hin on Saturday evening December 3.

Saint Nicholas doesn't let any grass grow over it! He has promised that he will be present on Thursday 26 November at the drinks evening of the Dutch Association at Royal Varuna Yacht Club in Pattaya*.

Ode to a Naard sausage
Martin and his colleague both come from families where mountains of small surprises and great poems are a Sinterklaas tradition. Mutual surprises and poems were therefore made here in Thailand. This is how Ode to a Naardsche Worst was created, but also as a thank you for bringing it from the Netherlands.

Sinterklaas has arrived in Thailand with his Pieten. They are (as it should be) quite black, while Saint Nicholas wears his usual white beard and a miter with a cross.
