In a few months I will receive my Philips pension. And now I'm a bit off track regarding the tax on this. Since coming to Thailand I have had no income and lived off my savings. I am officially deregistered in the Netherlands and registered in the RNI. And so I haven't paid taxes all those years, not in NL and not in TH. So what now?

Survivor's pension for partner living in Thailand?

My partner and I are getting married in Thailand this year after knowing each other for 7 years. She is 45 and I am 62. We continue to live separately because of my work, she in Thailand and I in the Netherlands.
It's not ideal, but it's the same. She has never lived in the Netherlands and does not want to live in the Netherlands.

I would like someone who can help me a bit regarding a Dutch pension, accrued after divorce following the death of an ex-partner. As of January 01, 01, my ex-girlfriend will permanently return to Thailand, as she has nowhere to go here anymore. No registration address and no more work. She only has that small pension, which is approximately 2024 euros gross per year.

I'm thinking of taking my retirement straight to Thailand. My question is whether it would be better if I put this in euros on a euro account or convert it directly into Thai baht. My feeling is that I should have a euro account because I can then take euros back to Belgium if I need them there.
