Flemings in Phuket?
I don't live far from Rawai Beach, but I do need a car or motorcycle to get there, and back to Mother the (Thai) woman. I know, with appreciation, the West Flemish Viking Cafe/restaurant/brasserie, but nothing else that equals Flemish.

Pay amount on arrival at Phuket?
We want to come from Langkawi to Thailand with our sailing boat. We are thinking of going to Phuket first. We have already arranged a visa valid until July 3rd. Now we suddenly hear that you have to pay amounts per person of 28.000 Baht upon arrival. That is quite a lot of money. Is this correct?

Arrived this morning via Singapore at Phuket airport. This year I was already in Phuket around July. Completing the PCR test and going through customs is much faster than earlier this year. Still, organized, disorganized but it works.

In the meantime arrived at Phuket, the ride from Khao Sok to Phuket was just under 170 km, so "so easy". The maisonette we booked turned out to be slightly smaller than it looked in the photos and so did the swimming pool, so the advice was to head in before you take the spiral staircase, otherwise it will be a hard confrontation with the stucco at the top of the stairs!

My wife and I flew to Phuket on October 13th. We initially had to quarantine for 14 days. We chose Phuket because the quarantine policy is a lot more flexible than Bangkok, we should stay at the Shaba hotel for 2 weeks.
