Did I pay too much for 10 truckloads of garden soil?
I want to renovate my garden. It is a piece of 400 square meters. The garden is a bit low and with a lot of rain there is always a lot of water. Now I have had about 120 m3 of soil brought into the garden. This was realized in two days, namely 10 trucks with (red) soil of a good quality for the garden, about 30% clay.
Scammed via Facebook?
I've been looking for a lead shotgun for quite some time now. Finally I found a shop on FB that could deliver it to me. After payment and appointment delivery, nothing more. No delivery on agreed day, no more response to FB.
Reader question: Re-measuring leased land, are we being scammed?
Six months ago we purchased a piece of land through leasing. Everything completely official through a lawyer, lease taxes and everything officially listed on channot. Now the owner of the land claims that the land must be measured again because the measuring points can no longer be found. In our opinion, this is nonsense, since the sizes really don't change by themselves, even though the channot is 500 years old.
VTM Belgium: Axel scammed in Bangkok
An expensive smartphone that is sold for a fraction of the price and turns out to be counterfeit? Two friendly ladies who invite you for a drink and saddle you with a sky-high bill in a cunning way? Taximeters that suddenly inexplicably skyrocket? These are just some of the common scams that many unsuspecting tourists experience while travelling.
Our satellite dish was damaged in the last storm. According to the PSI dealer, it could not be repaired. So we had to buy a new one and replace the old one, just the round dish without the device receiving the signals.
