Home » Reader question » Scammed via Facebook?
Dear readers,
I've been looking for a lead shotgun for quite some time now. Finally I found a shop on FB that could deliver it to me. After payment and appointment delivery, nothing more. No delivery on agreed day, no more response to FB.
Where do you think is the best place to go to file a complaint? Police? Newspaper? TV news? Have already sent my account to channel 34, but they remain East Indian deaf…
Best regards,
Walter
Editors: Do you have a question for the readers of Thailandblog? Use it contact form..
Police? Newspaper? TV news? Zozo, you're throwing some weight into the scale. Maybe write a letter to Prayut or to the king? But to get back to your problem. Just take your loss. In Thailand it is very common to pay on delivery. My girlfriend almost only buys online and when the delivery person comes she pays. So zero risk. And if a webshop does not want that, then you know enough.
Order quite a lot via Lazada & Shopee because everything is neatly delivered at home. But also always pay on delivery. No risk and ′′ butter with the fish ′′ 🙂
Weight in the scale? Thanks for your lame response, editors!
This man/woman is a scammer and has probably already made dozens of victims.
An air pistol or rifle is not exactly cheap.
My intention is to raise this so that it can be stopped.
And yes, I'll take my loss, no problem.
I will never see my money again. But if everyone thinks like you and his head
in the sand, nothing will ever change…
Usually I also buy on Lazada, great service, no complaints about it.
But have you already seen an air pistol/rifle on Lazada/Alibaba?
Not me…
If people weren't so naive when they buy something online, a lot will change. Scammers exist on the gullibility of people.
We do the same CO D only with certain things that we regularly order via Lazada, we pay in advance.
there are a lot of scammers here Beware
i dont know if a air bugs is legal in thailand would ask first .
I don't know for a complaint, but if you want your money back you have to contact visa if you have paid with it?
Hello.
You should buy something like that at Wish.com. And still very affordable.
Regards.
Never buy anything on Facebook again. My wife works hard, she is proud when she has some money. She bought a “GARMIN” watch on FB for 1800 baht. She didn't get a Garmin but a piece of junk for less than 100 baht. Tried to get a story, simply doesn't work. Better buy from Lazada. You can always return and get your money back.
Just logged in to Wish.com, but if you want to order there you have to be quick. As of March 1, no longer available in Thailand
