My Thai partner, who lives with me in the Netherlands, obtained her civic integration diploma some time ago. Now she would like to apply for a Dutch passport. The municipality has told me that this is not a problem, but in order to keep her Thai passport, 1 of the 3 rules below must be met.

My girlfriend's 2021-year residence permit will expire in March 5. She has now passed the integration process and has a job of 20 hours a week. What now? Apply for a residence permit again Apply for a Dutch passport, but her Thai nationality will not expire.

My girlfriend still has a residence permit until the end of March 2021, then the 5 years are over. She passed her integration exams. My Thai wife currently has 2 passports, one Thai and one Dutch. We do not agree with each other about which passport to use where. My opinion: at Schiphol on departure your Dutch passport, on arrival in Bangkok your Thai passport. Your Thai passport on departure from Thailand in Bangkok and your Dutch passport on arrival in the Netherlands at Schiphol. Is this the right way or is another way better?
